Georgia History Festival’s Super Museum Sunday: Savannah

Super Museum Sunday is coming in a few short weeks! If you are in Savannah on Sunday, February 5, visit sites in downtown and throughout greater Savannah (for FREE!), such as the Beach Institute African American Cultural Center, First Bryan Baptist Church, the Green-Meldrim HouseRalph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum, the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, the Webb Military Museum, and, of course, the Georgia Historical Society.

During Super Museum Sunday, on February 5, Georgians and visitors alike experience our state’s rich history and cultural life as historic sites, house museums, art museums, and other points of interest in Savannah and throughout Georgia open their doors for free to the public, providing an exceptional opportunity to experience the history in our own backyard. Over seventy cultural institutions participate in this popular annual family event.

RSVP on the Super Museum Sunday event page and learn more at georgiahistoryfestival.org.
