Join the Georgia Historical Society on Sunday, February 5, for Super Museum Sunday! Each week during the Georgia History Festival, GHS will shine a light on one participating Super Museum Sunday site in anticipation for this popular annual event.
This week we highlight the Seven Springs Museum at the Bodiford House. Located in Cobb County, the Museum relates the history of Powder Springs to visitors through artifacts dating back to the 1800s. The Museum and its collection is housed in the recently renovated Bodiford House, a two story Queen Anne Home originally constructed in the early twentieth century. Don’t miss the featured exhibitions, An Oral History Portrait of an African American Community!
The Seven Springs Museum at the Bodiford House will be open on Sunday, February 5 from noon to 4:00 p.m. as part of Super Museum Sunday. Be sure to check out the Super Museum Sunday map for additional participants in the Cobb County area!
