Cancelled – Georgia Day Parade: Friday, February 11, 2022
Classroom Banner Competition submissions: due online no later than Tuesday, February 1, 2022
Due to ongoing impacts from COVID-19, the Georgia Historical Society regrets to announce the cancellation of the 2022 Georgia Day Parade, scheduled to take place on Friday, February 11, 2022.
Classrooms are also invited to participate in the annual Classroom Banner Competition, by designing banners based on the theme, “Georgia’s People and Places.” Banner submissions will be submitted online by Tuesday, February 1.
